CLIENT-SPECIFIED MATERIALS DISCLAIMER 

(Non-Approved Suppliers / Financial Liability Notice) 

Important Notice – Client-Specified Flooring Products 

Where flooring products are specified, selected, or requested by the client and do not form part of Floors2U’s approved or standard supplier ranges, Floors2U cannot accept liability for the quality, performance, suitability, or appearance of the chosen product. 

By instructing Floors2U to proceed, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms: 

 

1. Product Quality & Appearance

• Floors2U accepts no liability for the quality, finish, performance, durability, or suitability of client-specified or third-party products. 

• Variations in colour, tone, grain, texture, knots, shade, and pattern are inherent characteristics of many flooring products, particularly natural materials such as real wood. 

• Product appearance may differ from: 

• Online images 

• Marketing photographs 

• Samples, swatches, or showroom displays 

• Samples are indicative only and do not represent a guarantee of uniformity across supplied material. 

• Floors2U will not be held responsible for dissatisfaction relating to aesthetic appearance, natural variation, or manufacturing tolerances. 

 

2. Supplier & Manufacturer Responsibility

• Any manufacturer defects, product faults, or quality concerns must be raised directly with the manufacturer or original supplier. 

• Floors2U’s responsibility is strictly limited to professional installation in accordance with industry standards and any available manufacturer guidance. 

 

3. Financial Liability & Non-Returnable Goods

• Client-specified materials are ordered specifically for the client and may be: 

• Non-returnable 

• Subject to restocking fees 

• Refused for return by the supplier or manufacturer 

• Floors2U accepts no financial liability for: 

• Client dissatisfaction 

• Change of mind 

• Aesthetic preference 

• Colour, grain, tone, or finish variation 

• Any restocking fees, supplier charges, or refusal to accept returns will be fully chargeable to the client. 

• Where materials cannot be returned, the full cost of the supplied goods remains payable, regardless of whether installation has commenced or been completed. 

• Floors2U will not absorb losses arising from client-specified product choices, including but not limited to: 

• Material costs 

• Delivery charges 

• Storage 

• Handling 

• Re-ordering alternative products 

 

4. Approval & Order Confirmation

Client-specified materials will be ordered only after written approval.
Once ordered, such materials are non-refundable. 

Any costs incurred by Floors2U in sourcing client-specified materials are fully recoverable from the client, irrespective of subsequent dissatisfaction or supplier return policies. 

 

Client Acceptance 

By instructing Floors2U to proceed with the supply and/or installation of client-specified materials, the client confirms acceptance of this disclaimer and all associated terms and conditions.
